I use Ubuntu 10.10 . I use evolution emai-client. when i start my evolution,
i expect to see my email-account to the left. This sunday when i started
evolution, i did not see my email-account to the left, so i couldn't see my
email-folders or my emails. when i told evolution to get my emails, it said
that it did. when i did ctrl-shift-s to see my email-account it is there. My
email-account is a pop3-account where i store all the emails i send and recieve
(except the spam-mail) in my inbox and sent mail. My folders still seems to
exists under ~/.evolution/mail/local . I started 2 new email-accounts since
this problem started: One general dummy and one gmail-imap account. The dummy
did not show up to the left, but the gmail does, and it works. When i try to do
folders-subscriptions (in swedish mapp-prenumerationer), then it says that my
old account doesn't support that. 2 other persons who unlike me use the
operating system Microsoft xp and the email-client thunderbird have recently
told me that their pop3-email-accounts have also dissappeared in the same way
as mine. My conclusion is that there must be something in common between ubuntu
10.10 evolution-users and microsoft xp thunderbird-users that makes old
pop3-aacounts disappear. We all use NAT (Network Adress Translation). I use
another network then the others.
