Public bug reported:

I recently installed Lubuntu 14.04 LTS. I noticed that on some screens
and in some applications, there were missing graphics and icons. For
example in the Files application, some of the folder icons would be
visible and others were not. I did a search for a related bug/issue and
come across a bug filed here
(https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51477). Turning off anti-
aliasing under Customize Look and Feel>Font resolves the issue of the
missing icons, but makes the text harder to read. For reference, I have
an nVidia GeForce3 Ti 200 (NV20) graphics card.

The bug was filed two years ago, but was just recently resolved. The
change was incorporated into Nouveau 1.0.11 that was recently released.
Is it possible to incorporate this patch/fix into the 1:1.0.10-1ubuntu2
that is installed in 14.04 LTS

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you can provide.
