I've a Macbook Pro 8,1 connected to an external monitor via HDMI. If I open the Control Center by any means (e.g. indicators->Sound->Sound Settings) the screen flickers, in the same was as if I unplugged/plugged in my external monitor. Then some application windows which was originally on the monitor is moved to the laptop screen - Firefox & Terminal frequent culprits) Note this does not happen every time, is usually only if I open Control Center after several hours of not having used it. Is very annoying! --- ApportVersion: 2.14.7-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.10 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationDate: Installed on 2014-04-26 (128 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Release amd64 (20140417) NonfreeKernelModules: wl Package: unity-control-center 14.10.0+14.10.20140702.1-0ubuntu3 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-24.47-generic 3.13.9 SystemImageInfo: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory Tags: utopic Uname: Linux 3.13.0-24-generic x86_64 UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to utopic on 2014-05-23 (102 days ago) UserGroups: adm autopilot cdrom dip lpadmin plugdev sambashare sbuild sudo _MarkForUpload: True usr_lib_unity-control-center: activity-log-manager 0.9.7-0ubuntu14 deja-dup 30.0-0ubuntu7 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-control-center/+bug/1364462/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
