Title:
NetworkManager breaks 3G connection directly after connection

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I have an Huawei 3g modem. It was recognized by udev as 12d1:15e7. But
this changed to 12d1:1506 after installing native software
(ConnectManager or MobilePartner). Now lsusb output looks like

Bus 002 Device 008: ID 12d1:1506 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E398
  LTE/UMTS/GSM Modem/Networkcard

By the way, native driver and software works good, but some unstable
and hard to set up vpn connection - need one more console, etc. But
  modem can works with Ubuntu.

When I try to connect with Network manager connection breaks. Logs for
ModemManager, NetworkManager and auth.log I attached.

I try to add some dbus rules like here
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/346835
  and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/modemmanager/+bug/417389
but nothing help. My current org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.conf I
  attached to.

My system is Ubuntu 14.04 and all latest upgrades.
