Title:
LibreOffice *looks* as if it was checking the spelling when the
  dictionary is not installed.

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: libreoffice

  To reproduce:
Uninstall myspell-ru package (if such is installed).
Type some gibberish in LibreOffice Writer.
Set the document language to Russian.
  Spell check the document.

  What happens.
LibreOffice successfully completes checking the rubbish and reports that
everything went fine.

  What i expect to happen:
I expect LibreOffice to either disable the spell checking feature or (better)
to warn me that the language cannot be checked (so that i go and install the
correct myspell package).
