This leads to blocking of the SIM, provided NM has acces to the Gnome keyring; i need my PUK to unblock the SIM again. the reason for this is, that NM doesn't know a way to tell the difference between SIM A and SIM B, as long as they are on the same network, obviously.. this is a serious troublemaker, right after "i can't choose whether wifi or mobile broadband should have connection priority" can't NM learn to tell two different SIMs apart? ..1) i'm running Lucid on an NC-10. ..2) NetworkManager Applet 0.8 and "network-manager 0.8-0ubuntu2" ..3) i expected for NM to prompt me to enter the PIN code for the new SIM card ..4) NM tried to use the PIN it knew from the other card on the new one, since it assumed, the new card, being from the same network provider, had the same PIN cheers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/555467/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
