I do this by closing the lid of my laptop (it is set up to automatically suspend) 3) Resume Ubuntu Expected: the flash content should be still visible Observed: a white rectangle is shown instead. The content still responds to mouse events such as clicks, however: you can notice it if the clicks produce sounds or open links in another window. If you click on a FullScreen button (such as YouTube's fullscreen button - obviously you click on it without seeing it), then the issue gets fixed, and after coming back from fullscreen the flash content is shown again. THIS IS A REGRESSION: this has started happening after upgrading from Ubuntu 10.04 to Ubuntu 10.10 I'll attach a screenshot taken from a youtube video after suspending and resuming ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: flashplugin-nonfree (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-28.50-generic 2.6.35.11 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-28-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Jun 12 13:39:49 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: flashplugin-nonfree To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flashplugin-nonfree/+bug/796177/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
