titlebar does not merge with top bar on maximize

Bug description:
The titlebar of firefox and netbeans suddenly stopped merging with the
top bar when I maximize a window. So now, when I maximize firefox, I
see two titlebars. After restarting the program, everything works fine
again.
If you need more information, feel free to ask me; I know a thing or
two about computers/Ubuntu. This is the first time it happened and I
don't know why, so I don't know how to reproduce this problem.
