Brasero 3.10.0 in 14.04 LTS still produces cue and toc files with absolute paths in them. It is easy enough to work around by editing the cue/toc file, but as a default it's counterintuitive. It would be better to leave the path out when writing the cue/toc file and use only the image file name. That way, the files may be moved anywhere (as you often would with disk images), and they could still be opened and burned, as long as they are kept together. I don't see any value in keeping the path in there.

When you move the files to another location and try to burn them, brasero fails (I use a german localization, the error message is "brasero.toc kann nicht gefunden werden.", which would translate as "brasero.toc cannot be found). Expected behaviour would have been that brasero is able to use the files even if I move them to another directory, or at least a warning that the files can only be used from the place where they are created. frank@ubuntu:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 frank@ubuntu:~$ apt-cache policy brasero brasero: Installiert: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 Kandidat: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 Versions-Tabelle: *** 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 ftp://ftp.rrzn.uni-hannover.de jaunty-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.26.0-0ubuntu3 0 500 ftp://ftp.rrzn.uni-hannover.de jaunty/main Packages frank@ubuntu:~$ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/424888/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
