Hello, I'm terribly sorry but I can't reproduce the issue. Today I've realized a high CPU usage and finally discovered that was a thumbnail problem in Nautilus, the thumbnails didn't showed and raised the CPU and the temperature too high.
After browsing in askubuntu.com I've seen a person with another problem related to thumbnails in Ubuntu 13.10 but his experience has given me the clue. So, I've deleted two hidden folders named "thumbnails" in my /home and now is all ok. It's for that reason that I've asked to close the bug and I'm not able to reproduce the situation. Anyways, I don't have any problem if you consider don't close and wait if the problem comes again. Thank you very much for your help!! I apologize for the wrong report, I should search before..., but I swear that gnome-system-monitor and htop didn't showed the "guilty process"... I also apoligize for my English, it isn't my language, so I hope you can understand me. Again, tahnk you very much and very best regards!! :D -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1312734 Title: thumbnails of files don't load and causes high cpu usage Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Hello, Thumbnails of files don't load and causes high cpu usage(between 60% and 70%) and temperature raises a lot, near from 85 ºc, when I close Nautilus o go a tab with only folders the cpu downs to normal level.
