Title:
laptop suspends if lid closed during shutdown

Status in “upower” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  To replicate:
1: Run laptop on battery power, adjust settings so that laptop suspends if
lid is closed on battery power.
2: Start to shut down the computer
3: Close the laptop lid at any time before the laptop has finished shutting
down.

  What should happen:
The laptop should finish shutting down. The shutdown command should override
the suspend setting.

  What actually happens:
The laptop suspends in the middle of shutting down, so when I want to use it
again I have to wait for it to finish shutting down before booting it again.
