Title:
High CPU usage after unmounting
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Context: I have my Ubuntu installation on a portable disk, and another
installation on the internal disk.
If I unmount a partition via the side panel little arrows, Nautilus
starts using 100% of one CPU (core). I wait a few minutes, but the CPU
usage doesn't decrease (checked it with top). Notice that the
partition is unmounted successfully.
I noticed this bug after I tried unmounting a partition: Nautilus
presented me a dialog, and the side panel device buttons became
unresponsive for a particular device (everything else was OK). I guess
this might be a separate bug.
