Bug description:
Steps to reproduce:
$ cd /tmp
$ touch foo.txt
$ gedit &
#### Bring up the File Open dialog. Select /tmp/foo.txt (but do not open it).
Copy its location (with right click menu)
#### Switch back to shell and delete /tmp/foo.txt
$ rm foo.txt
#### Observe core in shell
$
