I just filed a duplicate of this 1306860 (oops).

On my system with a dual-screen setup where the secondary monitor is in
a portrait orientation. If I maximize a window in my secondary monitor
and then click and move a window on the primary screen the maximized
window on my secondary screen re-renders with the top of the window at
the same height as my primary screen (see screenshot).

Clicking on the maximized window on my secondary screen puts it back in
full-screen.

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Beta at this point)

Title:
Incorrect position of maximized windows after moving to another screen

Status in “compiz” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: compiz

When maximized window (Opera, GEdit, gFTP...) is moved to another
screen (with ctrl + alt + shift + left/right), it's position is offset
a few pixels to the left or right (depending on moving direction).
After clicking on window, it set itself to correct position.
