Title:
Xorg crashes randomly, often when using openoffice

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

I hope ubuntu-bug attached all of the relevant information.

I have an Xorg crash that happens randomly. I am not able to reproduce
it nor determine an underlying cause.

I'm happily using my computer, when the screen suddenly goes all black
with some text. Then a popup appears stating that X has crashed and
giving me a few options--return to login, restart x, etc. Everything I
  was working on is lost.

The only pattern I can find is having openoffice open dramatically
increases the likelihood of a crash.

This happens to me up to several times a day if I have a lot of work
  to do in openoffice.

I have not seen the crash booting off of an Ubuntu Live USB (I have no
  CD drive).

I'm using a ZaReason TerraHD netbook, and they said to report the bug.
