lightdm doesn't draw correctly

Bug description:
Live-usb boots with screen fragmentation on either "install" or "try before
installing" options. CTRL+ALT+F1 and restarting lightdm fixes the issue.
Has occured on live-usb since attempting to install beta on Dell Inspiron
1520.
