Title:
left click and drag = eratic mouse movement

Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
i have installed 10.04 netbook ed. on my hp mini 210. everything is
updated, as far as the update manger wants anyway. i tried the fix
setting it up as a psmouse which worked sort of but then i could not
scroll. so i reverted those changes.

what is happening is when i left click and drag a second finger across
the pad to move the cursor the mouse is all over the map, making it
unusable. if i left click and simply drag that finger up or right, as
those are my only options :) , that works fine. so it must be
something with ignoring my clicking finger once the button is pressed.
i thought i had it fixed setting the jumpy cursor thresh to about 200
but that seems to no longer be working, which is strange. any ideas?
