It started after I did the upgrade from 13.04 ro 13.10. Select "reboot" or "shutdown" from the power icon and the whole screen locks up. It does attempt to log out but it simply fails. Nothing happens. Cannot CTRL or CTRL+ALT to another VT and have to SSH from my Android phone to issue a sudo reboot or sudo shutdown.
