Brandon, what do you do in pavucontrol to get audio? I've installed the app and started it up, but besides the checkboxes for different types of audio (PCM, DTS, AC3, MPEG, EAC3) I don't see anything different from the regular sound settings. I don't get anymore output devices listed as options even when I'm showing all output devices.

With Ubuntu 13.10 it has since been impossible to get the sound over the HDMI port. When I downgrade to 13.04 with the 01.org drivers it works again. In windows 7 the audio over HDMI works perfectly as well.
