** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1255558 Can't type my password after cold boot -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to lightdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1281239 Title: Sometimes keyboard input does not work Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: About every 4th or 5th reboot, when I'm presented with the login screen, I try to type my password by no keyboard input is accepted. The only way I've found to work around this is to select the on screen keyboard, then de-select it. When the OSK disappears, I can type in the password box again. Note that clicking in the password box does *not* fix the problem.
