Status in “libimobiledevice” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  upgrading libimobiledevice2 to version 1.1.0-3ubuntu1prevents hald from 
starting.
  $hald --verbose=yes --daemon=no   dies with "device_info.c:1136: Unhandled 
rule"

  After removing /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/20thirdparty/31-apple-
  mobile-device.fdi  hald starts again.
