Thanks for your reply Mario, but if you read attentively my bug description, all inboxes and folders were compacted (even junk mail folders and bin) and the trouble was still present. I finally fixed it creating a new profile and copy in all my personnal parameters files (sqlite, dbs, json files ...) BTW, I must say that there is a long time this issue didn't reappear. Now I'm running ubuntu 12.04LTS and TDB 24.2.0 Philippe

For some time, I can't delete any message or move it to another place without restart Thunderbird. When TDB is restarted, it works well some time (less than one half a day) then this issue comes back. All garbages are empty and directories compacted. Junk mails has been removed and their directories emptied-compacted. Auto compact is set to 50k. I tried : - copy Mail directory then work on the copy after restart TDB - remove all Mail/*.msf in one of my email box. They've been well recreated at restart. jsconsole shows 2 errors but they seems not to be linked with that issue : - the first one is referenced by bug #672559 : Error: [Exception...
