Rohan Garg, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-nouveau REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
Scrambled icons in Lucid daily build iso's

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-nouveau” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

  Steps to reproduce problem :
  1) Download daily amd64 live image of lucid
  2) Burn to USB and boot
  3) Once in kde, just look at the system tray, the icons are all scrambled
  4) Open quassel
  5) Complete the configuration
  6) Connect to a IRC,we find that connect and disconnect icons are scrambled

Only a few icons are scrambled instead of the whole systray, the
scrambled items in the attachment are of quassel and kbluetooth

UPDATE : After playing with the nouveau drivers apparently not only the
system tray but the whole taskbar and other icons are also scrambled.
