Title:
whole computer freezes and logs out (see attached picture)
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
After several re-installs of 12.10 I have gotten this crash several
times over. Everything seems to be working fine then it all slows
down to a halt, then I hear the log out sound and I get this on my
screen (see picture) nothing responds and I am forced to restart. Its
been the same 3 or four times completely by surprise. Half the screen
is what I was working on, and the other half is a scrambled version of
the log in screen. I am starting to suspect its my graphics card
(GT218 [GeForce 210]) which has been working fine until 12.10, but I'm
not sure. I don't have the know how to track this bug, if I knew how
to track what the system is doing in the background I could be more
helpfull. But this is all I got.
Thanks in advanced!
