Usually, there is no close button on the top panel. Closing Libreoffice does not correct this issue - when the application is launched again, the media player opens with it and cannot be closed. Possible steps to verify this bug: Open the media player (for example, press the Gallery button, then choose Sounds, then double click any sound file. The media player should then open. It cannot be closed. Close Libreoffice, then re-open LibreOffice opens with media media player which still cannot be closed.
