Title:
  Ugrade gnome-panel from 12.10 to 13.04 problems

Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
If you upgrade from 12.10 to 13.04 the gnome pannel desktop gets
cracy. First you log in and a pseudo unity + gnome-panel desktop
appears, the gnome panel icon in the login is missing like a said in
  other bug report.

To fix it you have to unloging from the desktop, choose the gnome-
panel login without effects. then unlog again, and the again log to
gnome-panel desktop and then you have a more or less working gnome-
  panel desktop.
