Public bug reported:

Thunderbird no longer reminds of recurring events, and can't see any
events scheduled, as if the calendar entirely disappeared. Cannot
schedule new events. In edit...preferences...calendar, it appears to be
unaware of the time-zone. The button to press to specify the nearest
city in the timezone is only 1/16 inch high, and doesn't function.

Expected behavior is that after upgrade, the same calendar I was using
on 13.04 would be used an 13.10, or at a bare minimum, I would be able
to specify a new calendar (which I cannot).

I need to have the calendar feature work again.
