Public bug reported: Starting in Saucy, changing the value of the 'Lock screen after' selector in the 'Brightness & Lock' section of the GNOME control centre has no effect as it's always overriden by the value for 'if screen has been blank for' in activity-log-manager.
This is extremely confusing and counter-intuitive. Either the value should only be settable in one place or changing it in either place should honour that setting. ** Affects: activity-log-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to activity-log-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1236071 Title: activity-log-manager silently overrides brightness & lock settings for when screen locks Status in “activity-log-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Starting in Saucy, changing the value of the 'Lock screen after' selector in the 'Brightness & Lock' section of the GNOME control centre has no effect as it's always overriden by the value for 'if screen has been blank for' in activity-log-manager.
