Title:
  Seahorse displays prompt with incorrect language

Status in “seahorse” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: seahorse

  I have a Ubuntu 8.10 machine set to Chinese, /etc/environment as
  follows:

  PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games"
  LANGUAGE="zh_HK:zh_TW:zh:en_US:en"
  LANG="zh_HK.UTF-8"

  If I change the login language in GDM to English, login and initiate a
  ssh connection I am prompted in Chinese not English.

  Everything else is in English, environment variables are set correctly
  by GDM:

  steve-o@nozomi:/etc$ env | grep LANG
  LANG=en_HK.UTF-8
  GDM_LANG=en_HK.UTF-8
