Title:
Firefox deletes the clipboard on startup

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Firefox in Ubuntu seems to delete the middle-click clipboard on startup. This
bug does not exist for Firefox in Debian unstable running KDE (haven't checked
  gnome.)
So you get a url in your email, right? You double-click your mutt terminal in
konsole/xterm, crack open Firefox, and middle-click..... and it's forgotten
it.
  Which is really annoying.
  Jens
