Bug description:
Binary package hint: gcdmaster
upon starting gcdmaster from command line I (and other users, see
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4983615 ) are presented with:
Error trying to open /dev/sg0 exclusively (Permission denied)... retrying in
1 second.
Error trying to open /dev/sg0 exclusively (Permission denied)... retrying in
1 second.
Error trying to open /dev/sg0 exclusively (Permission denied)... retrying in
1 second. <truncated repeats>
<then>
Error trying to open /dev/hda exclusively (Permission denied)... retrying in
1 second.
Error trying to open /dev/hda exclusively (Permission denied)... retrying in
1 second.
Error trying to open /dev/hda exclusively (Permission denied)... retrying in
1 second. <truncated repeats>
before having the program eventually run (a good minute after
attempting to start it). I am on Ubuntu 8.04 (from Ubuntu Studio
install) using gcdmaster version 1:1.2.2-8ubuntu3.
I ran an strace that I've attached.
