Title:
Simple scan should allow "copy to clipboard" of a document (Patch
  included)

Status in Simple Scan:
  Triaged
Status in “simple-scan” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
Simple scan should include a "copy to clipboard" option to directly copy a
scanned page (or a portion of it) to the clipboard.
Use case: use simple scan to get an image, copy it, and paste directly in
Libreoffice.

The included patch implements this new option (tested on simple scan
  3.6.1)
