I'm hitting this as well, with gvfsd-http eventually consuming almost 1
GB of memory on my system, so it's an important bug for me.

Similar to what the Totem user in the Gnome bug report is seeing, this
is triggered on my system by opening http audio streams in Rhythmbox
2.98. After that, and even if the stream or Rhythmbox itself is closed,
memory usage continues to creep up.
