In Writer we cannot use existing dialog to import multiple images at once. This is something that should work (works in Word like that). There is a workaround to copy / paste or drag and drop multiple pictures from the WIN File Explorer to the document, but, it's not so obvious.
I have additional request. Using Insert-Picture-From File.. we can also insert picture from http://address.com/picture.jpg. But, we should also be able to insert multiple images from multiple addresses, which currently is not possible. I think this could work with some parsing (doesn't work in Word now). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to openoffice.org in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385989 Title: [Upstream] Can't insert multiple images at once Status in LibreOffice Productivity Suite: Confirmed Status in The OpenOffice.org Suite: Invalid Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Binary package hint: openoffice.org In Writer you can't import several images at once with the file selection dialog.
