You have been subscribed to a public bug: Using calculator (gcalctool 6.4.1.1 with Ubuntu 12.04LTS) in financial mode: Whenever you change input currency (left selection list), currecy in the right is always reset to first option in list (Algerian Dinar), forcing you to reselect base currency.
Since list is quite long it becomes quite tedious to scroll through list and select my base currency (South African Rand) almost at end of list everytime you select another input currency. Am I just doing it wrong? Also is it not possible to use international convention for currencies ie. USD, EUR, GBP etc. Description in list could be as follow and perhaps easier to locate currency of choice. USD - American Dollar EUR - Euro GBP - Pound Sterling ZAR - South African Rand ** Affects: gcalctool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Changing input currency resets output currency selection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1172219 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gcalctool in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
