I have also noticed that my laptop's temperature increases considerably after getting these prompts and CPU usage increases a lot as well. My laptop is running at 70-74 degrees celsius temperature. I ran 'top' in the terminal and it indicates that 'apport-gtk' is contributing to around 90% of CPU usage.
