Title: Network Applet Crashes on clean install of 12.10 Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: During installation of 12.10 (at work), I setup wired 10/100 connection (my laptop has a gigabit adapter) with 802.1x (PEAP) security. All went good and install was successfull. Went home, booted freshly installed 12.10 into my gigabit lan (no 802.1x security at home), and the network manager crashed as it was trying to use connection established at work. The workaround was to create another wired connection, called it home, with no security.
