i type this command : $ gedit file.ext i get the encryption of the file wrong the auto-detection don't work i have to manually change it to: Western(iso-8859-15) then after closing the editor the following warning appear in the terminal: sys:1: GtkWarning: IA__gtk_progress_set_percentage: assertion `percentage >= 0 && percentage <= 1.0' failed i used strace and i attached the output below hope this help.
