Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner.

This looks like a one-time transition issue from OpenOffice to
LibreOffice. Since it is related to a no longer supported release, I'm
going to close it.

Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Title:
mysql connector removed during libreoffice installation

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: libreoffice

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 and all went well except for the
replacement of open-office org base with libre office base. My
database previously created with OO base opens in Libreoffice, but
when I try to connect to a table that was linked to a mysql table, I
got the message that the driver failed load. I checked the director
/usr/share/java and realized the connector was not there (perhaps it
was removed during the upgrade), so I issued sudo apt-get install
libmysql-java and it started working again. I didn't even have to
close libreoffice restart it. Acknowledgement: Thanks to
  http://maxolasersquad.blogspot.com/2011/03/connect-to-mysql-database-
  from.html for the libmysql tip.
