Public bug reported: Hi!
I live in Latvia, my mother tongue is Russian, so the Ubuntu language is Russian and timezone Riga (Latvia). When I search something through the searchbar google.com is used - but I expect google.lv. The google language is correctly Russian but the country domain is not detected, so I consider it as a bug. As a workaraung I've installed addon from http://mycroft.mozdev.org /google-search-plugins.html Ubuntu 11.04, Firefox 6.0.2 ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/854703 Title: Searchbar uses "wrong" (not expected) google domain Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hi!
