Title:
totem crashed graphics on pls file open

Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I have Totem as default player for pls files. I went to shoutcast
stream website and opened pls file from there. Right after that i got
black screen and after couple os seconds message about low graphics
mode. I checked "low graphics on this session only" but it just showed
me commandline without possibility to write anything. Then i had to do
  hard reset.

I had visualization enabled, so probably that was what crashed system.
