Title:
Web browser midori v chromium v firefox dependencies

Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Hello,

This happens in a Lubuntu install, version 12.04 fully up to date. I
have Midori web browser, and Chromium-browser is the default
  installed.

I have setup Midori in the preferred applications gui setup.

When removing chromium-browser, the package manager installs Firefox,
Firefox-globalmenu and xul-ext-ubufox. Once this done, when I want to
remove firefox, it triggers installing Epiphany and a bunch of depends
  for it !

What I am expecting is removing a web browser, any of them, does not
  trigger the install of any.

My request is such : please let the users have Midori only or even no
  web browser at all.

  Thanks for considering my request.
