Please try running:
    ubuntu-bug _usr_bin_compiz.1000.crash
which will create a new bug and will force Launchpad to decode the crash file
so we can read it better.

Title:
Compiz crashes with SIGSEGV in ?? () from
  /usr/lib/compiz/libunityshell.so

Status in Unity:
  Incomplete
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Sometimes (about 70% of the time) when I try to log in my account, I
type my password -> enter -> both screens go black and then I'm on the
login screen again. Paradoxically I can predict this behaviour befor
it: If it will appear and I type an arbitrary number of password signs
the scroll lock LED on my keyboard goes on (which I usually never
see). It's off again after I pressed enter.

Then, if I type my password again everything goes normal.

Another thing, that I think has to do with it:
If I enable auto login for my user, I get logged in to my desktop and a
password box appears. If I then cancel it, my desktop gives me some weird
graphics glitches and it's unusable. If I enter my password in the box and <ok>
I'm on the login screen again, where I can proceed as usual.
