Public bug reported:

If the user does not change the artist name for every track as well the
the track will be imported under the default "Unknown" artis name to the
library. This can lead to confusion whre the user expect to see the
tracks under the artist name afterwards in the library but instead it is
under "unknown". I think in most cases the artist name at the top and
the artist for every track will be the same, not so?

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 and Rhythmbox 2.97.

Title:
When exctracting from an audio cd and the album information can't be
found it allows to edit the fields by hand. When changing the artist
field at the top it should automatically change the artist for every
  track as well.
