Steps to reproduce: *) System -> Administration -> User and Groups or) gksu users-admin *) Click on "New User" -> Leave the password fields blank -> OK What happens: This dialog appears: "Password is too short User passwords must be longer than 6 characters and preferably formed by numbers, letters and special characters." What should happen: users-admin should let Richard Stallman create an account (at least with "Desktop user" and "Unprivileged" profiles) ;) However, it should show a (red) message box under the text entry (maybe a web2.0-style box) [GNOME version: 2.18.1 on Feisty] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gst/+bug/109647/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
