Hi,

this looks like a problem with the keyring, not software-center itself.
I reassign for further inspection.

** Package changed: software-center (Ubuntu) => gnome-keyring (Ubuntu)

Title:
GNOME-Keyring endlessly prompts for password after I buy something
  from USC

Status in “gnome-keyring” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
A MAJOR problem with Ubuntu is the endless prompts that GNOME-keyring
gives the user if the user creates an account (e.g., buys something,
registers to write reviews in USC, etc) in Ubuntu Software Center.
Once user creates an account in USC for whatever reason, the user will
be CONSTANTLY harrassed with prompts from the GNOME-keyring to login
  whenever user is using Ubuntu.

This is so annoying! It is so annoying I had to resort to reinstalling
the OS to get it to stop. Unfortunately, this means to keep the
prompts from reappearing, I am unable to login or create any account
in USC. This also means I cannot purchase software from USC because
then the prompts will start again.

So that users can buy software in USC , please fix the GNOME-keyring
so it doesn't needlessly prompt for password. If the user needs to
login for something, it should be a user initiated action. That is the
user is going to do something that requires a login, so the user
manually logs in. There should be no background stuff happening that
causes the keyring to put up a prompt. I do not have UbuntuOne active
or anything like that. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for
the keyring to be prompting to be unlocked. This is a MAJOR bug.

I've attached a PNG showing what the prompt looks like.
