Title:
  Inproper spell check

Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
If I type the word "doesn't" into gedit and hit F7 for spell check, I
  get the following bug.

The spell checker pops up and suggests the following spelling: doesn't
When I press on "Change" it replaces my former doesn't onto doesn't't

if I run spell check again, then it appends another 't to the word
  doesn't.

I have only noticed the problem with the word doesn't.
