I'm currently using Ubuntu 12.10. I have both rar and unrar installed, not unar. I Installed unar but that did not help either. The problem happens when using the native "Archive Manager" (V 3.6.1.1). Opening the rar archive works fine but when I try to extract the rtf file inside the rar it says "An error occorred while extracting files".
