nevermind I fixed the problem
after researching it was not a biug , instea dthe install had placed that as my 
computer name
I feel foolish
in case anyone else had this problem 
all I did was paste this in terminal
usermod -c "Real Name" -l new_name old_name

I'll be more prudent next time :(
