Bug description:
Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox
Distribution : Ubuntu 8.04 x86 freshly installed
Package : firefox 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3
The "Print selection Only" option only prints a small part of the
selection (about half a centimeter in height that is the first line,
the first line and half the second line depending on the font size)
Example:
Open firefox
Open http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=179
Select the text starting with "Announcement: Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Released- Read
more here." just below "Threads in Forum : Development (Feisty Fawn) -
(CLOSED)" and ending with "Display Options Moderators" (included) near
the end of the html document.
File->Print
In the Option tab, select "Print selection Only"
Click Print.
I get only the first and a half line printed.
Note: The problem happens both when printing to PDF or to my HP printer.
Note 2: Printing selection in firefox 2 on Ubuntu 7.10 worked well.
